"acid rock qualities, blues influences, repetitive melodic phrasing, extensive vamping"

One of the Pandora stations I created describes the music I like with these adjectives. It then played me some Hunger, a band I never heard of before, and the song was Portland '69. Nice little jam reminiscent of the floyd's astronomy domine. Check it out for a little something different, but still sorta the same. You might need a thunderous "Other One" afterward. Peace

pretty neat. sound like a hybrid of early deep purple and pink floyd. they sure are correct about the the repetitive melodic phrasing, but after the first 1:25, it gets good. they got the '60s sound down to a tee. cool stuff. pandora is always good for some interesting new finds.
